Fish oil? discussion on the TexAgs General forum. aren't you millennials "digital natives?" I told you there are more recent studies that debunk the earlier ones. Fish oil and krill are both able to lower triglyceride levels substantially. Personally I would take enough fish oil and/or krill oil to reach a triglyceride testing score of 45 or lower. Some people are able to reach that testing level with 2000mgs of EPA/DHA a day from fish oil. Fish oil has failed in recent studies to show any direct benefit for the heart in terms of preventing heart attacks and there's no evidence it helps with Tinnitus. However, very high amounts of fish oil can help lower triglycerides, inflammation, anxiety, or depression in people with such issues. Re: Fish Oil for dogs I can't speak as to whether too much fish oil affects a dog's liver but as a Nutritional Therapist to humans I ALWAYS recommended whole body fish oils rather than cod liver oil as the oil made from the liver contains vitamin A which can be overdosed on unlike the Omegas which are very difficult to overdo. Clearly, it would behoove the human race if we could keep the ratio of omega-6 fatty acids to omega-3 fatty acids at approximately 3 to 1, the way that nature intended. That's why most well meaning people take fish oil capsules (remember, fish in the wild eat algae, a plant material, that contains a lot of omega-3s). How to use the oil let your fish oil settle for a bit and any water/juice you got into the jar will seperate and you can remove it with a squeeze pump like a turkey baster. the oil itself really won't smell that bad. now this is some powerfull concentrated fishing scent, that can be mixed and experimented with in all types of homemade fishing
